Strategic Plan

In 2011, Irish Traditions Atlanta (formerly Irish Music Traditions) began a planning process to detail its long-range vision and set short- and long-term goals for the Atlanta Branch of An Comhaltas. The governing board identified four Strategic Directions during the planning process, defining goals for each. The plan includes a breakdown of the Strategic Directions and Goals into more specific objectives and action steps, and identifies the necessary people, resources and timelines for execution.

Irish Traditions Atlanta will continue to fulfill its responsibilities as a branch member of An Comhaltas as stated in the Bunreacht by collaborating with other Irish groups in Atlanta and focusing on membership growth.

Some elements of the plan are obvious actions that any non-profit organization must take to grow, such as strategies addressing membership growth, increased income and implementing best practices in board governance and structure. But the plan also reflects ambitious steps for Irish Traditions Atlanta.
